Summer Program in Computational Neuroscience at Penn
The newest group to make use of the Neurolab, the Summer Program in Computational Neuroscience at Penn takes undergraduates from Penn and area colleges through an intensive, six-week course in computational neuroscience. For the first two weeks, students spend the mornings in the Neurolab with Mike Kaplan (BBB) and Alan Gelperin (Monell Science Institute), learning how to collect data from neurons in a variety of systems. In the afternoons, students analyze and model this data with program director Leif Finkel (Bioengineering), using MATLAB and NEURON software. For more info, click here.
